Bobbi’s Lucky Stars

The members of Bobbi’s Lucky Stars are a support group for Sister Bobbi White, R.W.G.C. and the State of West Virginia.

All Eastern Star members are encouraged to join. A membership drive is now in effect until January 1, 2010 with a 20% discount. Dues for the triennium of 2009-2012 are $8.00; for 2009-2015, they are $16.00. Anyone wanting to join may send an application with the dues money, to any one of the following officers. Please fill out the application in its entirety, to be put on the email, or snail mail list for the news letter.

The officers of the club are Millie Pence, President, Thelma Chapter No. 24; Jackie Groves, Vice President, Wakoma Chapter No. 52; Beth Porter, Secretary, Tiskelwah Chapter No. 45 and Ann Persinger, Treasurer, Winolia Chapter No. 89.

The club has a variety of very nice pins to sell that identify you with Bobbi’s Lucky Stars, and can also be worn for other occasions. Patches for the Red jackets are available with the State of West Virginia design on them. These are especially nice to wear to Oklahoma’s General Grand Chapter and sell for $5.00.

The attire for the club for the ladies is Red Jackets, Black Skirts, Black tops and clover scarf. For the men the attire is Red Jackets, Black trousers, Black tops and clover tie. These are encouraged to be worn to show support for Sister Bobbi and the State of West Virginia.

This year we have “Theme Baskets”. A chairman in each district is coordinating with the chapters. The tickets will be $1.00 each or six for $5.00. Most of the districts have selected their theme.

All ten baskets will be given away at the club’s meeting in October 2010, at our Grand Chapter Session of which all members are encouraged to attend. We have a variety of fun projects. If you would like to volunteer, please get in touch. We expect to be very busy for the next six years, and welcome your input. If you are attending General Grand Chapter in Oklahoma, we have a job for you.
