Chapter History
In 2008-2009 New Chapter will celebrate its 98th birthday on the second Tuesday in April, 2009. The charter was granted on October 4, 1911 by West Virginia Grand Chapter.
The chapter has a special project started by Sister during her fourth term as Worthy Matron in 1999. Member are asked to bring small stuffed animals to chapter and then they are taken to the Emergency Room at County Hospital to be used to comfort young children traumatized by illness or injury. We have continued this project each year because so many nurses and grateful parents applaud the effort.
